 March 31, 2011 The seventh Moffitt/Kosovo videoconference (second on colorectal cancer). After first visiting Tampa Bay Region through IVLP in 2008, Dr. Elvis Ahmedi talked at length with the International Council about building a collaborative professional relationship in the Tampa Bay Region for him and his fellow physicians. The International Council of Tampa Bay Region partnered with the Moffitt Cancer Center (Tampa), which offered to work directly with cancer surgeons and related healthcare specialists in Kosovo. This exchange of information and peer review, which began in October 2009 focused exclusively on breast cancer, has since been expanded to include other types of cancer common to Kosovo
 

February 25 2011 Another progress of the Integrated Telemedicine and e-Health Program of Albania. Professor Mentor Petrela, Chairman of the Neurosurgery Service of UHC “Mother Theresa” held the first lecture of the distance CME program through the telemedicine network in Albania. “Guidelines for the Current Management of Aneurismal Subarachnoid Hemorrhage”. The lecture was transmitted live at the premises of the Telemedicine Center of Albania including all regional telemedicine centers in Albania and Kosova.
